Sales Consultant

About the role

The Sales Consultant will be responsible for expanding Absa's customer base and increasing the profitability of an assigned portfolio. Working within a branch environment, you will attract new clients, deepen relationships with existing customers, and contribute to the overall sales targets of the team.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and acquire new customers for the bank.
• Cross‑sell banking products and services to existing clients.
• Retain customers by delivering high‑quality service and addressing their financial needs.
• Support the branch in achieving its sales and profitability goals.
• Monitor financial performance, manage business risk, and ensure customer satisfaction.

Required profile

• Certificate (FETC) or equivalent further education and training.
• Strong communication and relationship‑building abilities.
• Customer‑focused mindset with a drive to meet sales targets.
• Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues.
