Sales Representative – Cape Town

About the role

Take the lead in growing a respected product brand across the Cape Town market. This position offers an ambitious, commercially‑minded individual the chance to build a career in external sales while supporting the company’s regional retail expansion.

Key responsibilities

• Identify new business opportunities and develop customer relationships within the trade and retail sectors.
• Grow existing accounts and acquire new ones across the assigned territory.
• Manage territory sales targets independently, planning visits and follow‑ups.
• Build strong product knowledge and provide responsive, professional support to customers.

Required profile

• Previous exposure to sales, customer service or any customer‑facing environment.
• Strong commercial drive with a genuine desire to build a sales career.
• Confident communication and relationship‑building skills.
• Self‑motivated and comfortable managing own time, territory and targets independently.

Required skills

• Paint specification experience (highly advantageous).
• Understanding of specification processes.
