About the role
The Sales Consultant will promote and sell the bank’s full range of products to both existing and prospective clients. The role involves generating new leads, nurturing relationships, and delivering tailored financial solutions in a responsible manner.
Key responsibilities
- Achieve customer growth, revenue and collections targets set by the bank.
- Execute the bank’s sales strategy, including up‑selling, cross‑selling and capital take‑up.
- Conduct outbound calls, manage inbound requests and follow up on lead‑generation initiatives.
- Develop and maintain business relationships with clients, schedule visits, presentations and perform financial needs analyses.
- Maintain accurate pipeline and prospect data, and produce regular performance reports.
- Support branch marketing activities, referrals, community events and promotional campaigns.
- Ensure compliance with risk and fraud controls, complete product applications accurately and adhere to all bank policies.
- Manage cash, CAM and credit‑card administration tasks as authorised.
Required profile
- Minimum NQF Level 6 FSCA‑aligned or business‑related qualification (RE5 preferred).
- At least 2 years of sales and client‑service experience.
- Full Representative status across all product categories.
