Wellness Assistant (Customer Experience)

About the role

We are seeking a Wellness Assistant to join our Langebaan store, delivering an excellent customer experience and supporting sales initiatives. You will be the first point of contact for shoppers, helping them find the right products and ensuring a smooth retail environment.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and assist all customers with a professional, friendly approach.
• Identify customer needs, provide solutions and advise on available products and services.
• Apply selling skills, offer alternatives when merchandise is unavailable, and achieve sales and unit targets.
• Stay informed about new lines, promotions and store merchandising standards.
• Follow opening and closing procedures, ensure all items are ticketed and merchandising principles are upheld.
• Minimise shrinkage through accurate stock counts and checking product expiry dates.
• Handle cash at the point of sale and assist with cash‑ups.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year experience as a Sales Assistant in a Wellness Warehouse environment.
• Completed Wellness Academy Foundation and Specialisation training, plus all supplier training.
• Fully computer literate with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability and willingness to work weekends and extended retail hours.
• Competency assessment successfully achieved.
