Sales Clerk – Agricultural Products

About the role

Hinterland is looking for a customer-focused and energetic Sales Clerk to support daily retail operations in its Klerksdorp branch. The role delivers excellent service and drives direct sales of agricultural products, helping customers choose and buy what they need while meeting sales targets.

Key responsibilities

• Add value to customers by improving access to products and services and providing on-site support to increase sales and strengthen relationships.
• Market products and services to targeted customers.
• Ensure products and services are delivered to customers on time.
• Provide after-sales service and support to clients and customers.
• Liaise with the Irrigation Design and Procurement departments for effective service delivery.
• Communicate market trends and customer needs to relevant departments and stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain a customer database and keep accurate administrative records.

Required profile

• National Senior Certificate.
• At least 3 years of experience in a direct sales environment.
• Great communication and negotiation skills.
• Attention to detail.
