Sales Associate – SMB

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Sales Associate to join our SMB department in Cape Town. You will partner with small‑ and medium‑size businesses, helping them optimise their hiring process through Pnet’s solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Generate and manage high‑quality leads using various sourcing techniques to maintain a robust sales pipeline.
• Prospect, cold‑call and close deals, persuading businesses to adopt Pnet’s recruitment platforms.
• Maintain and grow client relationships through strategic conversations, product usage tracking and upselling opportunities.
• Accurately handle administrative tasks and reporting within the CRM system.
• Continuously develop skills through training and upskilling programmes.

Required profile

• Proven B2B sales track record with strong cold‑calling and telephone skills.
• Ability to clearly articulate solutions both verbally and in writing.
• Excellent listening skills to understand customer needs.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CRM systems.
• Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
