Sales Assistant - Under Armour Fourways

About the role

Ares Holdings is recruiting a Sales Assistant for Under Armour at its Fourways Crossing store in Sandton, Gauteng. It is a permanent, full-time, customer-facing retail position within the Under Armour business unit, focused on quality customer service and supporting the store's sales and service objectives. The role suits people who enjoy sports, fashion and retail, and is described as particularly suitable for students studying Retail Management, Fashion or Sports Management.

Key responsibilities

• Assist customers throughout their shopping journey, helping them find products that meet their needs
• Build product knowledge of Under Armour's sportswear, apparel, footwear and accessories
• Support store sales through customer engagement and product recommendations
• Maintain a neat, organised and attractive store environment and help with product presentation
• Work with other store employees and management to achieve customer service and operational goals
• Represent the Under Armour brand professionally and contribute to a welcoming, respectful customer experience
• Help with other retail activities needed to keep the store running smoothly

Required profile

• Comfortable working in a retail store and interacting directly with customers
• Willingness to learn about the Under Armour brand, its products and its approach to customer service
• Students of Retail Management, Fashion or Sports Management, or anyone wanting practical retail experience
