Sales Assistant – Delivery & Cash Collection

About the role
We are looking for a Sales Assistant to support our Salesman‑driver in the daily delivery of Premier products. The role combines product handling, cash collection and vehicle upkeep in a fast‑paced, 24/7 environment.
Key responsibilities
- Verify and sign off products against the loading sheet before departure.
- Adhere to scheduled departure times and ensure vehicle safety and hygiene.
- Collect cash from customers and perform daily cash‑in procedures where applicable.
- Unload products at customer sites efficiently and accurately.
- Report any accidents immediately to the transport department and Service Manager.
Required profile
- Matric / Grade 12 qualification.
- 1–2 years experience in FMCG.
- Valid driver’s licence (code 10/CI) with PDP.
- Target‑driven with high attention to detail and accuracy.
- Comfortable working in a highly pressurised, 24/7/365 environment.
- Good people‑management and relationship‑building abilities.
- Basic computer literacy and ability to communicate at all levels.
- Self‑motivated and responsible.
