Sales Administrator

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented Sales Administrator to manage sales orders, reporting and related administrative tasks for our Johannesburg office. The role supports sales representatives, agents and the finance team to ensure accurate processing and timely information flow.

Key responsibilities

• Receive and verify sales orders from reps/agents, ensuring correct pricing.
• Enter orders into the accounting system, check accuracy and file documentation.
• Maintain and update the order system, removing outdated entries.
• Prepare daily, weekly and monthly sales reports (MTD, weekly meeting, customer reviews, export sales, etc.).
• Assist the debtors’ team with claims and queries.
• Provide information for annual financial audits.
• Update and distribute price lists to reps and customers.
• Support invoicing, generate pro‑formas and quotes.
• Compile monthly rebate and incentive reports.

Required profile

• Grade 12 qualification.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication and time‑management skills.
• Capability to interact with all organisational levels and prioritize tasks.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Advanced Excel skills.
