About the role
Our client, an accounting, auditing and advisory firm based in Durbanville, is seeking a confident and articulate first‑year SAIPA Trainee Accountant. This entry‑level opportunity is designed for a recent B.Comm graduate who wishes to start a professional accounting career and work towards the three‑year SAIPA article qualification.
Key responsibilities
- Support the accounting team in day‑to‑day tasks and gain exposure to audit and advisory work.
- Assist with basic bookkeeping, data entry and preparation of financial information.
- Participate in the structured SAIPA article programme to develop core accounting competencies.
Required profile
- Matric qualification.
- B.Comm degree.
- No prior experience required.
- Confident and articulate communication skills.
- Fully bilingual in Afrikaans and English.
- Willingness to learn, succeed and complete a three‑year SAIPA article programme.
- Organised with excellent planning abilities.
