About the role

This apprenticeship offers a hands‑on introduction to the SAIPA professional accounting pathway. Based in Garsfontein, Pretoria, you will work full‑time in an office environment, supporting senior accountants while gaining practical experience in bookkeeping and financial reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with day‑to‑day bookkeeping and preparation of financial statements.
• Perform bank reconciliations and support tax filing tasks.
• Prepare management reports and conduct basic financial analysis.
• Provide client service under the supervision of senior accountants.

Required profile

• Matric (Grade 12) with Mathematics and Accounting as subjects, or a completed/in‑progress Accounting or Finance degree.
• Strong Afrikaans communication skills.
• Valid driver’s licence and own transport.
• Eager to learn, reliable, detail‑oriented and a good team player.

Required skills

• Familiarity with Xero accounting software.
• Familiarity with Sage accounting software.
