SAICA Trainee Accountant / Article Clerk

About the role
We are seeking a motivated SAICA Trainee Accountant / Article Clerk to join our audit and accounting team. The successful candidate will complete a SAICA training contract while gaining practical experience across a broad range of clients and industries, with exposure to auditing, accounting, taxation and other professional services.
Key responsibilities
- Assist with external audits and assurance engagements.
- Prepare annual financial statements.
- Perform accounting and bookkeeping tasks.
- Handle tax compliance matters.
Required profile
- Completed BCom Accounting or a relevant accounting degree, or currently in at least the 2nd year of study.
- Intention to complete a SAICA training contract.
- Fluent in Afrikaans and English.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Own transport and a valid driver’s licence (advantageous).

What we offer
- Salary range of R13,000 – R17,000 per month, depending on experience.
