SACPCMP Registered Construction Manager – Western Cape

About the role

We are looking for a qualified SACPCMP Registered Construction Manager to lead construction projects across the Western Cape. The role involves planning, coordinating and supervising all on‑site activities to deliver projects safely, on time, within budget and to the required quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Manage all on‑site construction activities from initiation to completion.
• Ensure compliance with specifications, drawings, contracts and South African building regulations.
• Plan, coordinate and supervise subcontractors, suppliers and site personnel.
• Monitor progress, prepare regular reports and control site costs.
• Conduct site inspections, quality checks and enforce Occupational Health & Safety standards.
• Identify risks, implement corrective actions and maintain accurate documentation.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, engineers, architects and local authorities.

Required profile

• SACPCMP registration as a Professional Construction Manager (PrCM) or Professional Construction Project Manager (PrCPM).
• National Diploma or Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Building Science or related field.
• 5‑10 years of construction management experience on commercial, residential, industrial or infrastructure projects.
• Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary site teams and manage budgets.
• Strong knowledge of South African building regulations and the Occupational Health & Safety Act.
• Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel within the Western Cape.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Experience with construction project management software.
