About the role

The Retail Supervisor will lead a team on the shop floor in Sandton, ensuring high standards of customer service and sales performance. This onsite role involves overseeing daily store operations and supporting staff to deliver a seamless shopping experience.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and guide team members during shifts to achieve sales targets and excellent customer service.
• Manage opening and closing procedures, cash‑ups, stock control, and visual merchandising.
• Handle customer enquiries, resolve issues, and escalate when necessary.
• Assist with coaching, shift planning, and providing performance feedback.
• Maintain store standards, health & safety protocols, and company policies.
• Monitor and report on sales performance and staff productivity.

Required profile

• 1–2 years of retail experience with some supervisory or team‑leading responsibilities.
• Matriculation required; a retail or business qualification is an advantage.
• Strong reliability, initiative, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with POS (point‑of‑sale) systems.
