Senior Sales Executive – Enterprise Solutions (Southern Africa)

About the role

Provenir is seeking a Senior Sales Executive to join its growing EMEA sales team. The role focuses on driving new enterprise revenue through multi‑year, high‑value contracts and expanding strategic relationships across Southern Africa. This is a remote position, ideally based in Johannesburg, South Africa.

Key responsibilities

• Refine and execute the go‑to‑market strategy for Southern Africa, covering direct and partner channels.
• Generate leads, qualify prospects, conduct discovery calls and present proposals through to contract negotiation and closing.
• Build and nurture relationships with senior decision‑makers and manage complex, multi‑stakeholder buying processes.
• Develop a partner network using trade associations and data partners to create additional pipeline.
• Participate in industry events to raise brand awareness and generate leads.
• Collaborate with Customer Success to identify upsell and expansion opportunities.

Required profile

• Extensive enterprise B2B sales experience with a proven record of closing complex, high‑value deals.
• Demonstrated success selling into financial services, especially credit risk, fraud, decisioning, analytics or AI/ML domains in Southern Africa.
• Experience closing multi‑year enterprise contracts and navigating regulated, fragmented technology environments.
• Strong business and financial acumen with the ability to translate technical capabilities into measurable outcomes.
• Fluency in English and ability to build credibility with senior and executive‑level stakeholders.
