About the role

Our client, a leading up‑market retailer, is looking for a Retail Sales Assistant to deliver exceptional customer service and drive sales in their Linden store. The role involves direct interaction with customers, especially around adult product ranges, and requires a professional, mature attitude.

Key responsibilities

Achieve sales targets through high‑quality, one‑on‑one customer service.
Provide product consultations and advice on adult merchandise.
Handle stock taking, inventory management and merchandising.
Perform cash‑ups, daily reconciliations and manage opening/closing procedures.

Required profile

Matric/Grade 12 qualification.
Minimum 1 year of sales experience, preferably in a retail setting.
Extroverted, energetic and socially mature, comfortable discussing adult topics.
Own transport and a valid driver’s licence.

Required skills

Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
Experience using POS (point‑of‑sale) systems.

What we offer

Base salary of R5,000 per month.
Commission on sales performance.
Permanent contract with shift work schedule.
