About the role

As the Restaurant Manager at Mama Shelter, you will be the driving force behind the daily rhythm of the restaurant and bar, delivering a vibrant, high‑energy dining experience that reflects the brand’s bold personality. You will lead from the floor, engaging directly with guests and staff to ensure every service feels alive and unforgettable.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver a consistently exceptional, high‑energy dining experience across all services.
• Act as the face of the restaurant, engaging with guests and building repeat business.
• Oversee day‑to‑day operations, including opening/closing, floor management, and coordination between kitchen, bar, and service teams.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, presentation, and service flow.
• Support revenue targets and profitability by monitoring sales, labour, and cost controls.
• Identify opportunities to increase covers, spend per head, and upselling.
• Lead, coach, and energise front‑of‑house teams with a hands‑on leadership style.
• Build a strong, service‑driven culture rooted in personality, pride, and performance.
• Collaborate closely with Bar, Culinary, Events, and Marketing teams to align service delivery with brand activations.
