Restaurant Manager – Breakfast & Lunch Service

About the role

The President Hotel in Bantry Bay is seeking an experienced Restaurant Manager to lead its high‑volume breakfast and lunch operations. This hands‑on leader will be visible on the floor, engage directly with guests, and ensure every service moment reflects the hotel’s luxury standards.

Key responsibilities

• Own the entire breakfast and lunch service, from pre‑service preparation to post‑service wrap‑up.
• Lead and motivate a front‑of‑house team, delivering daily briefings and coaching.
• Manage reservations, table allocations, buffet presentation, and service flow.
• Coordinate dietary requirements and special requests with the culinary team.
• Maintain impeccable cleanliness, food quality, and presentation standards.
• Drive revenue through product knowledge, personalised recommendations and upselling.
• Oversee team rosters, shift allocations and performance management.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing a busy restaurant or food‑and‑beverage outlet in a hotel setting.
• Strong leadership style with a visible, guest‑focused presence.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to anticipate guest needs.
• Ability to work collaboratively with senior F&B and culinary leadership.
