Residential Registered Nurse

About the role

This permanent part‑time position is based at Wearne Home in Mandurah, offering 36.25 hours per fortnight across a rotating roster. The role focuses on delivering high‑quality clinical care to aged‑care residents while supporting and mentoring care staff.

Key responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive clinical assessments and reviews of residents.
• Safely administer medication and manage falls prevention strategies.
• Complete accurate documentation and care planning for each resident.
• Supervise daily delivery of care plans and provide coaching to care staff.
• Ensure compliance with Occupational Health and Safety, aged‑care standards, and risk management policies.

Required profile

• Current AHPRA registration.
• Evidence of current flu vaccination per Amana Living policies.
• Ability to obtain a National Police Clearance (valid within 6 months) and NDIS clearance (or willingness to obtain).
• Successful completion of pre‑employment medical and reference checks.
• Knowledge of resident classification scales, accreditation processes, and continuous improvement.
• Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills with a genuine passion for supporting older people.
