Remote Accountant (Multi-entity, Xero)

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑obsessed Accountant to support the financial health of two fast‑moving entities in the UAE and Singapore. Reporting to the Chief of Staff and working with a fractional CFO, you will own day‑to‑day bookkeeping, ensure accurate multi‑currency reconciliations and keep cash flowing through proactive collections.

Key responsibilities

• Perform multi‑currency bank reconciliations and month‑end manual journal entries.
• Manage invoicing, accruals, pre‑payments and financial reporting for both entities.
• Drive accounts‑receivable collections via email, WhatsApp or phone while maintaining client relationships.
• Maintain Xero records, including multi‑organisation management and data hygiene.
• Support the finance team during its transition, identifying process improvements.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of bookkeeping or accounts administration experience, preferably in a multi‑entity environment.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Excellent written and spoken English and a professional, discreet approach to sensitive financial data.
• Comfortable operating in ambiguous, fast‑changing settings.
