Relocations & Export Service Specialist - Remote

About the role

We are seeking a proactive Relocations & Export Service Specialist to manage end‑to‑end international relocations and commercial export operations. Working remotely, you will act as the central liaison between clients, agents, carriers, customs brokers and internal teams, ensuring smooth, compliant shipments and excellent customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate relocations and exports from survey/quote through collection, documentation, customs clearance, transport and final delivery.
• Prepare accurate estimates, quotations and pricing, including any exceptions or additional costs.
• Manage documentation, job files, labelling, billing and third‑party charges.
• Monitor shipments, proactively address delays, and resolve claims or disputes.
• Handle customer queries, billing issues, overdue accounts and AR disputes within 24 hours.
• Support new business opportunities, cross‑selling and sales initiatives.
• Track estimated versus actual costs to maintain financial accuracy and compliance with international shipping regulations.

Required profile

• Diploma (mandatory); degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business or related field is advantageous.
• Hazardous Goods Certification, PIPA Certification and customs‑vetted status (non‑negotiable).
• 3+ years of Microsoft Office experience and 1–2 years using CargoWise.
• 1–2 years in supply chain, transportation, logistics or related fields; experience with international relocations or commercial exports is highly advantageous.
• Strong customer‑facing, billing and accounts‑receivable experience is a plus.
