Registered Professional Nurse – Wellness Centre (White River, Mpumalanga)

About the role

Our client, a luxury wellness and addiction treatment centre in Mpumalanga, seeks a Registered Professional Nurse with experience in psychiatric, mental health or addiction care. You will work within a multidisciplinary team to support patients on their recovery journey.

Key responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care in a structured mental health and addiction recovery setting.
• Conduct patient assessments, monitor symptoms and administer medications as directed by psychiatrists and doctors.
• Document withdrawal monitoring, mental health observations and behavioural notes accurately.
• Maintain comprehensive nursing records, including medication charts, vital signs and incident logs.
• Participate in team meetings, case discussions and clinical reviews.
• Assist in training and mentoring junior nursing staff when required.
• Ensure compliance with SANC standards, ethical guidelines and facility protocols.

Required profile

• Registered Professional Nurse with a valid SANC registration.
• Minimum three years of psychiatric or mental‑health nursing experience in a hospital or rehabilitation environment.
• Fluent in Afrikaans and English, both spoken and written.
• Own reliable transport and ability to work shifts, weekends and public holidays.
• Compassionate, calm, patient‑centred and emotionally resilient under pressure.
