Registered Nurse – Retirement Centre (Bellville, Cape Town)

About the role

Our client, a well‑known retirement centre in Bellville, Cape Town, is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse to provide high‑quality care to residents. The role involves working shifts in a supportive environment, delivering compassionate nursing services to an ageing population.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to residents, including medication administration and wound management.
• Monitor and assess the health status of frail and elderly patients.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with SANC regulations.
• Participate in shift handovers and contribute to a safe, hygienic environment.

Required profile

• Registered Nurse with a valid South African Nursing Council (SANC) registration.
• 3–4 years of nursing experience, preferably in frail or elderly care.
• Basic proficiency in Afrikaans.
• Residency in the Northern Suburbs of Cape Town.
• Valid driver’s licence and clean criminal record.
• Willingness to work rotating shifts.
