About the role
A vacancy exists for an experienced Registered Nurse in the Intensive Care Unit at Life The Crompton Hospital. The role involves delivering holistic, high‑quality nursing care to critically ill patients to achieve optimal outcomes.
Key responsibilities
- Provide holistic and optimal quality nursing care to critically ill patients.
- Administer medication in accordance with ethical and legal frameworks.
- Communicate continuously with patients and families regarding condition.
- Monitor and maintain equipment and instrumentation, reporting any faults.
- Manage stock, staff hours, and infection control according to unit policies.
Required profile
- Relevant Degree or Diploma in Nursing.
- Previous ICU nursing experience.
- Strong customer orientation and ability to work under pressure.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Willingness to work flexi‑hours and on‑call roster.
