Registered Nurse – HICU/MICU (Qualified & Experienced)

About the role

Life Vincent Pallotti Hospital is seeking qualified and experienced Registered Nurses for its High‑Acuity (HICU) and Medical‑Intensive Care (MICU) units. Reporting to the HICU/MICU Unit Manager, the successful candidates will deliver holistic, high‑quality nursing care to critically ill patients and support the hospital’s strategic objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Provide basic and specialised nursing care to critically ill patients, ensuring optimal outcomes.
• Communicate continuously with patients and families regarding condition and care plans.
• Administer medications in line with ethical and legal frameworks.
• Maintain and monitor ICU equipment and instrumentation, reporting any faults promptly.
• Manage stock and control costs according to unit policies.
• Support infection control and SHEQ initiatives, completing alerts and incident reports.

Required profile

• Relevant Degree or Diploma in Nursing with ICU experience.
• Strong customer orientation, team‑player attitude, energetic and well‑organised.
• Ability to work under pressure in a continuously changing environment.
• Willingness to work flexi‑hours and on‑call roster.
