About the role
We are seeking a Registered Nurse to join a private Eye Institute on a temporary, part‑time basis. The role focuses on delivering high‑quality care to patients in general wards at a facility in Benoni, Gauteng.
Key responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive, quality patient care in accordance with the nursing scope of practice.
- Uphold patients’ rights and ensure compliance with legal and company standards.
- Identify, report, and manage medico‑legal risks.
- Conduct patient care audits and maintain accurate records.
- Manage stock and equipment following client policies.
Required profile
- Immediate availability.
- Own indemnity cover and a valid SANC licence.
- Proven experience working in general units.
- Competence in performing and assessing clinical procedures and risk management.
- Strong understanding of the nursing scope of practice and patient care.
