Registered Nurse – General Ward Locum Shifts

About the role

We are seeking a Registered Nurse to join the General Ward team on a locum basis at Mediclinic Ermelo. The role involves delivering high‑quality nursing care in a fast‑paced hospital environment, supporting patients throughout their recovery.

Key responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the General Ward.
• Monitor patient recovery, treatment plans and overall wellbeing.
• Administer prescribed medication and perform nursing procedures.
• Collaborate with doctors and multidisciplinary healthcare professionals.
• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with healthcare standards.

Required profile

• Diploma or Degree in Nursing.
• Current registration with the South African Nursing Council (SANC).
• 1–2 years’ experience in a private hospital or ward setting.
• Strong clinical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
