Registered Nurse – Frail Care Specialist

About the role

Charisma Healthcare Solutions is looking for a dedicated Registered Nurse with frail‑care experience to join our team in Sandton. You will lead the delivery of high‑quality, compassionate care for frail residents, ensuring their health and wellbeing are continuously monitored and supported.

Key responsibilities

• Assess residents and develop individualized nursing care plans.
• Manage and evaluate ongoing care, monitoring health status, nutrition, fluid balance, and mobility.
• Administer medication and treatments as prescribed.
• Maintain accurate clinical records, incident reports, and documentation.
• Communicate effectively with families, physicians, and the multidisciplinary team.
• Advocate for residents, providing emotional support and dignity‑focused care.
• Support infection control, safety, and confidentiality standards.
• Provide guidance, in‑service training, and leadership to nursing staff.
• Assist with end‑of‑life care compassionately.

Required profile

• Registered Nurse or Professional Nurse qualification.
• Registration with the South African Nursing Council (SANC).
• Proven frail‑care experience (essential).
• Strong clinical knowledge and sound judgement.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
• Caring, patient, and professional attitude.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to work shifts.
