Registered Nurse – Clinic Manager (Benoni)

About the role

Alma Clinics is seeking a Registered Nurse to lead the Benoni Clinic. The Clinic Manager will be responsible for the overall clinical operation, ensuring safe, evidence‑based care and a positive experience for every patient.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee day‑to‑day clinical operations and patient flow.
• Conduct nursing assessments, administer treatments and coordinate continuity of care with healthcare providers.
• Supervise and coach clinic staff, manage schedules and support ongoing training.
• Ensure adherence to clinical protocols, infection‑prevention standards and regulatory policies.
• Monitor stock levels, manage resources and contribute to performance reporting and continuous‑improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the South African Nursing Council.
• Proven experience in primary care or community health settings.
• Demonstrated leadership and people‑management abilities.
• Strong understanding of clinic operations, scheduling and resource management.
• Commitment to patient‑centered care, safety and quality.
• Effective communication skills for diverse patient populations and multidisciplinary teams.
• Diploma or degree in Nursing; additional training in primary healthcare or management is an advantage.

Required skills

• Proficiency with basic digital tools.
• Experience using clinical information systems.
