Registered Dietitian – Remote Treatment Specialist (Weekend)

About the role

We are expanding our Weight Loss team and need a Registered Dietitian/Nutritionist to join as a Treatment Specialist. The role is fully remote within South Africa and focuses on weekend video consultations for patients seeking GLP‑1 weight‑management treatment.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct BMI verification consultations via video call for patients applying for GLP‑1 therapy.
• Provide comprehensive education on treatment risks, benefits, expected outcomes, and side‑effects.
• Screen for disordered eating and perform eating‑disorder assessments when required.
• Monitor patients for side‑effects and advise when clinical support is needed.
• Collaborate with clinical and customer‑support teams to ensure safe, effective practice.
• Optionally support the live‑chat ticket queue as a secondary duty.

Required profile

• Registered Dietitian or Nutritionist registered with the HPCSA (essential).
• Based in South Africa with the right to work locally.
• Available to work every Saturday and Sunday plus 1–2 weekdays.
• Comfortable conducting back‑to‑back video consultations for extended periods.
• Experience in clinical assessment and patient education.
• Willingness to develop knowledge of GLP‑1 medications.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
