Regional Talent Specialist (Full-time, Johannesburg)

About the role

Bridgestone is looking for a Regional Talent Specialist to lead talent acquisition and talent management initiatives across Africa and the Middle East. Based in Johannesburg, you will partner with business leaders and HR colleagues to attract top talent, strengthen employer branding, and support people analytics.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with HR Business Partners and hiring managers to define workforce needs and develop recruitment strategies.
• Manage end‑to‑end recruitment for early‑career and experienced hires across the region, including role briefings, candidate profiling, and selection planning.
• Source candidates via the Bridgestone Careers portal, LinkedIn, employee referrals, and professional networks; build and maintain talent pipelines for hard‑to‑fill roles.
• Conduct screening interviews, preliminary assessments, and ensure compliance with employment legislation and diversity hiring practices.
• Support employer branding through career fairs, social media, and industry partnerships; promote the employee referral programme.
• Monitor recruitment, talent, and performance KPIs; maintain accurate records in SuccessFactors and produce regular talent reports.

Required profile

• Proven experience in talent acquisition or HR within a multinational environment.
• Strong understanding of recruitment best practices, employer branding, and talent pipeline development.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence senior leaders.
• Detail‑oriented with a focus on compliance and data integrity.
