Regional Sales Manager – Pretoria & Surrounds

About the role

Dr Reddy's is seeking a dynamic Regional Sales Manager to lead its commercial activities in Pretoria and surrounding areas. The role focuses on driving sales performance, building strong client relationships, and aligning the team with the company’s strategic objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of Professional Sales Representatives to achieve territory sales targets, SFE, and call objectives.
• Conduct daily field visits to coach, support, and guide the sales team.
• Support planning and execution of divisional initiatives such as conferences, speaker programs, and promotional events.
• Develop and execute strategic sales action plans in line with marketing and sales strategies.
• Engage personally with key stakeholders including GPs, specialists, and pharmacists.
• Maintain an up‑to‑date client database for the designated territory.
• Collaborate with Key Account Manager and National Sales Manager to identify regional business opportunities.
• Prepare and present monthly and quarterly review presentations to senior leadership.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in pharmaceutical line management within South Africa’s private sector.
• Proven leadership of pharmaceutical sales teams with a strong track record of meeting targets.
• Ability to develop and execute go‑to‑market strategies across multiple therapeutic areas.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑engagement skills.
