Regional Sales Manager – North & East Rand

About the role

Dr Reddy’s is looking for a dynamic Regional Sales Manager to lead its commercial activities in the North and East Rand of Johannesburg. The role focuses on driving sales growth, managing a team of professional sales representatives, and strengthening relationships with healthcare professionals.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, coach and manage a team of Professional Sales Representatives to meet territory sales targets, SFE and call objectives.
• Optimize sales performance across the assigned region through daily field visits, coaching and strategic planning.
• Support planning and execution of divisional initiatives such as conferences, speaker programs and promotional events (CMEs, CDPs).
• Develop and implement strategic sales action plans aligned with company marketing and sales objectives.
• Engage personally with key stakeholders – General Practitioners, Specialists and Pharmacists – to drive business performance.
• Maintain an up‑to‑date client database for the designated territory.
• Collaborate with Key Account Manager and National Sales Manager to identify and capitalize on regional business opportunities.
• Prepare and present monthly and quarterly business review presentations to senior leadership.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in pharmaceutical line management within South Africa’s private pharma industry.
• Proven leadership of pharmaceutical sales teams with a strong track record of achieving sales targets.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and execute go‑to‑market strategies across multiple therapeutic areas.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and cross‑functional collaboration skills.
