Regional Sales Manager

About the role

DP World is seeking a Regional Sales Manager for its Market Access Healthcare SA division in Cape Town. The role is responsible for driving consistent sales growth, expanding market share, and achieving regional revenue targets across South Africa.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver regional sales, market share and profitability objectives in line with corporate strategy.
• Identify, analyse and capitalise on new business opportunities to sustain growth.
• Develop and execute regional sales strategies and monitor budget compliance.
• Lead, coach and manage a team of Sales Representatives, overseeing recruitment, onboarding, training and performance management.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, healthcare professionals, wholesalers and opinion leaders.
• Represent the company at congresses, trade meetings, CME/CPD events and industry forums.
• Monitor sales force effectiveness and call coverage using CRM/SFE systems, and provide quarterly business reviews.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations and the South African Code of Marketing Practice.

Required profile

• Honours degree (NQF Level 8) in Life Sciences, Business or a related field.
• Proven experience in sales leadership within the healthcare or related sector.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret sales data and market trends.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CRM/SFE systems.
• Experience using data analytics tools for sales performance monitoring.
