Regional Sales Manager – Eastern Region

About the role

The Eastern Region Regional Sales Manager will lead Voermol's sales efforts across the designated area, driving growth of our animal nutrition product range. Reporting to the National Sales Manager, you will identify new opportunities, expand distribution channels and strengthen relationships with key stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new sales opportunities to meet budgeted targets.
• Develop and expand distribution channels to increase market penetration.
• Organise Farmer’s Days and Information Days in partnership with farmer organisations.
• Promote Voermol products to encourage customer purchases.
• Liaise with producer organisations (e.g., NWGA, RPO, NERPO) and relevant livestock government departments.
• Prepare and submit detailed weekly and monthly activity reports.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and stakeholders.
• Lead and manage the regional sales team to achieve sales objectives.

Required profile

• Grade 12 (Matric) plus a Bachelor’s Degree or National Diploma in Agriculture, preferably Animal Nutrition.
• Minimum five years’ experience in agricultural market sales.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, analytical thinking and problem‑solving ability.
• Fluency in Afrikaans and English, both spoken and written.
• Self‑motivated, confident, able to work efficiently under pressure with strong attention to detail.
• Sound decision‑making skills and accountability for outcomes.

• SAP system proficiency
