Regional Retail Operations Leader

About the role

Jonsson Workwear is seeking a hands‑on, results‑driven Regional Retail Operations Leader to oversee its store network across the Western Cape. The role focuses on driving operational excellence, consistency, and risk management to ensure every store meets high standards of service, presentation, and performance.

Key responsibilities

• Strengthen and refine operational processes and standards to achieve consistency across stores.
• Partner with Store Leaders to identify improvement opportunities and implement sustainable solutions.
• Conduct regular store visits to verify compliance with operational, safety, and visual standards.
• Assess and enhance the customer ordering experience for efficiency and accuracy.
• Identify risks and support stores in resolving them promptly and with attention to detail.
• Ensure stores are well‑maintained, properly stocked, and merchandised to the highest standard.
• Build strong regional relationships and communicate clearly with all teams.
• Empower store teams to develop long‑term customer relationships.
• Continuously evaluate SOPs and ways of working for relevance and consistency.
• Travel regularly across the Western and Eastern Cape to maintain visibility and support operational execution.

Required profile

• Proven operational experience in a multi‑store retail environment.
• High attention to detail and strong analytical abilities.
• Ability to work across multiple teams and environments, driving accountability.
• Structured, proactive, and capable of influencing and guiding teams.
• Excellent relationship‑building and communication skills.
