Regional Marketing Specialist – Africa (English & French)

About the role

The Regional Marketing Specialist for Africa will drive the activation of the company’s marketing strategy across English‑ and French‑speaking markets. Based in Umhlanga, South Africa, the role requires a minimum of two days per week in the office and regular travel across the continent to support events and partner engagements.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and execute regional events such as trade shows, industry seminars, webinars and partner‑hosted activities, ensuring they meet defined KPIs and feed the sales funnel.
• Develop and manage co‑op marketing programmes with channel partners and distributors, including sponsorships, co‑exhibitions, co‑branded assets and promotional merchandising.
• Localise and activate global marketing campaigns for the African market, manage influencer collaborations, PR initiatives, regional newsletters, case studies and market research.
• Monitor marketing performance, report on ROI, track regional KPIs and recommend corrective actions to align with the overall strategy.

Required profile

• Native‑level proficiency in English and professional proficiency in written and spoken French.
• Ability to work onsite in Umhlanga at least two days per week and travel across Africa as needed.
• Strong coordination skills to liaise with internal teams, partners and the EMEA Head of Marketing and Communications.
