Regional Manager

About the role

Our client, a leading provider of innovative financial solutions, is looking for an experienced Regional Manager to lead business operations across the Eastern Cape. You will be responsible for driving revenue growth, expanding market share and ensuring operational excellence within the region.

Key responsibilities

• Achieve regional revenue, sales and profitability targets.
• Identify, develop and convert new business opportunities.
• Expand market presence across key sectors and client segments.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, intermediaries and stakeholders.
• Oversee portfolio performance, asset quality and risk exposure while ensuring compliance with credit policies and governance standards.
• Monitor operational performance and align regional activities with strategic objectives.
• Track, analyse and report on regional performance metrics.
• Lead, coach and develop the regional team to meet performance goals.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Commerce or related field (post‑graduate qualification advantageous).
• 8‑12 years of experience in financial services, asset finance, commercial finance, banking or business development.
• Proven track record of driving revenue growth and market expansion.
• Experience managing regional operations, portfolios or business units.
• Strong stakeholder and intermediary relationship management skills.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and develop high‑performing teams.
• Exposure to governance, compliance, risk management and regulatory frameworks.
