About the role
A multinational group based in Sandton is seeking an experienced Financial Controller / Management Accountant to join its regional finance team. The group has a diverse portfolio of businesses and offers excellent opportunities for career progression. This is a regional role involving limited travel to branches within Gauteng.
Key responsibilities
- Finalise month‑end reporting
- Prepare forecasts and budgets
- Perform variance analysis
- Complete General Ledger reconciliations across the entire balance sheet
- Maintain fixed asset registers
- Review and understand stock variance sheets
- Participate in fixed‑asset stock takes
- Manage VAT requirements
- Prepare year‑end audit packs
- Support the financial management of regional branches
- Travel occasionally to branches within Gauteng
Required profile
- Solid financial accounting experience
- Previous experience within a manufacturing or FMCG environment
- Strong understanding of stock and inventory
