Regional Financial Controller

About the role

Feltex (Pty) Ltd is looking for an experienced Regional Financial Controller to lead financial management and reporting for its plant operations in the Eastern Cape. The role supports operational decision‑making by providing strategic insights, managing budgets and driving efficiencies.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure accurate financial records and timely reporting for all regional plants.
• Maintain compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.
• Implement effective cost‑control measures and uphold strong financial governance.
• Provide strategic financial insights to support operational decision‑making.
• Manage budgets, monitor performance and drive efficiencies across the region.
• Lead, develop and motivate the regional finance team.
• Collaborate with plant managers and group leadership to align financial practices with organisational objectives.

Required profile

• Proven experience in a senior financial control or finance management role.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards and statutory compliance.
• Ability to analyse financial data and present actionable insights.
• Leadership experience managing finance teams.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Experience in a manufacturing or plant‑operations environment is desirable.
