Refrigeration Technician – Refrigerant Recovery (Full‑time)

About the role

We are expanding our refrigerant recovery services across South Africa and need an experienced Refrigeration Technician to join our team in Durban. The role involves delivering high‑quality recovery and maintenance services to our customers while ensuring safety and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Perform refrigerant recovery operations on a variety of commercial and industrial systems.
• Conduct site assessments and provide technical support to clients.
• Maintain recovery equipment, consumables and related tools.
• Ensure compliance with SHEQ (Safety, Health, Environment, Quality) standards on every job.
• Support the development of strong customer relationships through professional service.

Required profile

• Qualified Refrigeration Technician (trade artisan) registered with SAQCC.
• 8‑10 years of hands‑on experience with refrigeration systems.
• Valid driver’s licence and ability to travel to client sites.
• Self‑motivated, solution‑focused and able to work independently.
• Based in Durban or willing to relocate.
