Recruitment Team Lead

About the role

We are looking for a dynamic Recruitment Team Lead to manage a group of recruiters serving a US‑based healthcare client. The role is fully remote, operates on US EST business hours, and focuses on delivering high‑volume, high‑quality hiring results.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, mentor and coach a team of recruiters through daily huddles and one‑on‑one sessions.
• Monitor recruiter productivity, manage attendance, leave and performance metrics.
• Oversee the end‑to‑end recruitment process, ensuring consistency, speed and quality across all vacancies.
• Develop and implement sourcing strategies, talent pipelines and continuous process improvements.
• Maintain strong relationships with client hiring managers and talent acquisition leadership, providing updates, market insights and hiring recommendations.
• Track and improve key recruitment metrics such as time‑to‑fill, offer acceptance rate and candidate experience.
• Identify operational challenges and propose solution‑focused recommendations.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading recruitment teams in a fast‑paced environment.
• Strong people‑management and coaching abilities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Experience with US or international healthcare recruitment is highly advantageous.
• Ability to work US EST hours while based in South Africa.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Applicant Tracking System (ATS) platforms.
• Data‑driven decision making and basic recruitment analytics.
