Recruitment Lead

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Recruitment Lead to drive and scale our high‑volume hiring function across South Africa and future African markets. You will lead a remote team of bulk recruitment consultants, ensuring fast, quality hires for both store replacements and new openings.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, manage and develop a geographically dispersed recruitment team.
• Deliver 1,800–2,200 hires per year for store operations.
• Oversee end‑to‑end recruitment for new store launches and replacement roles.
• Implement and optimise strategies to improve speed, quality and cost of hire.
• Ensure consistent application of recruitment processes, tools and compliance standards.
• Monitor KPIs, provide coaching and performance management.
• Partner with operations leaders for workforce planning and hiring forecasts.
• Build scalable talent pipelines to support rapid expansion.
• Report recruitment metrics, trends and insights to senior stakeholders.

Required profile

• Diploma in Human Resources, Business or related field.
• Minimum 8 years of recruitment experience, focused on bulk/high‑volume hiring.
• Proven people‑management experience, including remote teams.
• Experience managing 1,000+ hires annually.
• Strong operational and process‑management capability.
• Experience in QSR or retail sector is a plus.
