Recruitment Consultant / Talent Acquisition Specialist

About the role

We are seeking a Recruitment Consultant / Talent Acquisition Specialist to act as a trusted partner for a portfolio of South African clients. In this fully remote position you will own the end‑to‑end hiring process, from sourcing to placement, while delivering a high‑quality candidate experience.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute targeted sourcing strategies to attract high‑quality talent.
• Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, including sourcing, screening, interviewing and placement.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as an extension of their internal hiring teams.
• Provide consultative support to hiring managers, aligning recruitment tactics with business needs.
• Evaluate candidate backgrounds for cultural and technical fit.
• Coordinate communication between clients and candidates to ensure a smooth recruitment experience.
• Oversee candidate pipelines through onboarding, including relocation or immigration support when required.
• Deliver recruitment solutions that meet service level expectations for quality, efficiency and responsiveness.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 + years of recruitment experience in an agency or in‑house setting.
• Strong understanding of full‑cycle recruitment processes and best practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a proven ability to build trust.
• Results‑driven mindset with accountability for delivery targets.
• High level of professionalism, integrity, discretion and emotional intelligence.
• Comfortable working remotely in a fast‑paced environment.
• Strong organizational and time‑management abilities.
• Degree‑level education is advantageous but not essential.
• Adaptable and open to new tools and methods.
