Recruitment Consultant – Engineering Delivery (Remote)

About the role

We are seeking a Recruitment Consultant to join a fast‑growing STEM recruitment agency. You will focus on delivering engineering talent – embedded software, firmware, hardware and electronics – for UK‑based clients, working remotely from South Africa.

Key responsibilities

• Source, qualify and present engineering candidates against active client briefs.
• Deliver a shortlist of five qualified CVs per role within seven days, with the first profile on the client’s desk within 24 hours.
• Manage candidate communication throughout the recruitment process, from outreach to offer stage.
• Book and coordinate interviews, handle logistics and keep clients updated on progress.
• Contribute to the sales pipeline by surfacing leads and relevant candidates.
• Utilise LinkedIn Recruiter, SourceBreaker, RecruiterFlow and job boards to run structured searches.

Required profile

• 2+ years of recruitment delivery experience in a STEM, engineering or technology agency.
• Proven track record placing technical profiles such as embedded software, firmware, hardware or electronics.
• Strong written and verbal English with the ability to engage senior engineering professionals.
• Ability to work independently and manage 4‑6 active roles simultaneously.
• Experience recruiting for the UK or US market.

What we offer

• Base salary of R30,000‑R39,000 per month.
• Tiered commission structure paid in GBP.
• Remote work from South Africa with core hours aligned to UK time (08:30‑17:00).
