Recruitment Candidate Screener

About the role

We are looking for a Recruitment Candidate Screener to join our remote team in South Africa. You will be responsible for managing and vetting applications for engineering and technical positions across various industries and educational institutions. This role offers the chance to work independently while contributing to high‑volume talent acquisition.

Key responsibilities

• Review CVs from job boards and assess qualifications against job requirements.
• Screen candidates to ensure they possess the relevant skills and experience for industry or education roles.
• Shortlist top talent and forward qualified candidates to hiring teams.
• Maintain clear communication with recruitment teams and provide regular progress updates.

Required profile

• Proven experience in recruitment and candidate screening.
• Familiarity with CV vetting processes, especially for engineering and technical positions.
• At least 2 years of experience in recruitment or talent acquisition.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to quickly assess candidate qualifications.
• Excellent communication skills for liaising with hiring teams and candidates.
