About the role
Our client in the IT industry is seeking a proactive Receptionist/Administrative Assistant to join a fast‑paced environment in Pretoria East. The role combines front‑desk duties with essential administrative support.
Key responsibilities
- Manage the reception area and answer telephone calls with professional etiquette.
- Log support requests from customers and route them appropriately.
- Handle basic accounting tasks such as managing debtors, creditors and invoicing.
- Maintain stock levels and oversee software license renewals.
- Coordinate repairs, fault finding and equipment maintenance.
- Prepare and distribute electronic newsletters to customers.
Required profile
- Completed Grade 12.
- Fully bilingual in English and Afrikaans, both written and spoken.
- 3–4 years of experience in a similar reception or administrative role.
- Excellent telephone etiquette and strong attention to detail with numbers.
- Strong organisational and planning abilities.
Required skills
- Basic accounting (debtors, creditors, invoicing).
- Software license management.
- Stock management.
- Newsletter creation and distribution.
- Customer support request logging.
