Quantity Surveyor – Shop Fitting Projects

About the role

We are looking for a full-time Quantity Surveyor to join our Randburg team, focusing on shop-fitting projects. You will be responsible for managing all cost-related aspects from initial estimates through to final accounts, ensuring budgets align with scope and timelines.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, review and maintain Bills of Quantities (BOQ) for each project.
• Monitor project costs and produce regular cost reports.
• Support procurement by evaluating contractor and supplier quotations.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.
• Collaborate with project managers, site teams and finance to maintain accurate documentation.

Required profile

• Relevant tertiary qualification in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management or related field.
• Proven experience in cost control and cost management for construction or shop-fitting projects.
• Strong analytical, numerical and attention-to-detail skills.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Experience working on-site and managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency with MS Office.
• Use of industry-standard estimating and cost management tools.
