Quality Technology Engineer – Metrology & CMM

About the role

We are looking for a Quality Technology Engineer to lead metrology and quality assurance activities within our organization. The role focuses on managing measuring systems, supporting product and supplier quality processes, and ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the Metrology Department, including gauge management, MSA studies, capability studies and CMM room operations.
• Analyse, interpret and implement new measuring standards and requirements.
• Coordinate product change management related to quality requirements.
• Liaise with internal and external service providers for gauge manufacturing and external calibration services.
• Participate in the review and release of supplier PPAP submissions and assist in preparing internal and customer PPAP packages.

Required profile

• National Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 3–5 years of experience in metrology, quality assurance or a related field.
• Familiarity with IATF 16949 and/or ISO 9001 standards.
• Proficiency in English and strong analytical thinking.

• PPAP, APQP, QSA.
• Measurement System Analysis (MSA) and Statistical Process Control (SPC).
• Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA).
• IATF 16949, ISO 9001.
• SAP.
