Quality Supervisor – Brick Manufacturing

About the role

A leading brick manufacturing company is seeking an experienced Quality Supervisor to oversee product quality at its Driefontein plant near Carletonville. You will ensure compliance with ISO 9001, SANS 227 and health‑safety standards while supporting continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor brick quality against required standards and conduct sampling of clay stockpiles.
• Maintain compliance with ISO 9001 and SANS 227 quality requirements.
• Support and update quality management systems and procedures.
• Interpret quality results, compile reports and communicate findings to management.
• Identify deviations, assist with corrective actions and support risk‑management processes.
• Maintain accurate quality records and documentation.
• Collaborate with production and factory management to resolve quality issues.
• Promote continuous improvement initiatives and ensure health‑safety compliance.

Required profile

• Matric (Grade 12) or equivalent; tertiary qualification in Quality Management, Engineering or related field is advantageous.
• Minimum 4 years’ experience in quality management within manufacturing.
• In‑depth knowledge of ISO 9001 and SANS 227 standards.
• Strong analytical, report‑writing and data‑interpretation skills.
• Computer literate, proficient in English and holder of a valid driver’s licence.
